The founders of The SeaBuck Company have been investigating the impact of the seabuckthorn plant for over forty years. One of the founders of the company spent the years following his graduation from medical school serving the people of small remote villages in the mountains of Asia. During that time, he was curious as to why the people and animals seemed so healthy and seemed to resist the effects of aging. His research led him to the seabuckthorn plant and for the last four decades, he has continued to research not only the plant and its fruit, but analyzed all the other studies and scientific clinical data that has been accumulated on the plant.

The overwhelming body of this scientific work supports the many values of the plant. Further international study of the fruit led the team to the knowledge that the full potential of the berry pulp could only be realized by systematically controlling all aspects of harvesting as well as implementing the on-site processing methods. The SeaBuck Company has developed unique and proprietary process and formulas for of aspects of handling and processing the fruit of this plant. The end result is a formulation that ensures the properties of the plant are protected and insulated in every container of SeaBuck.
